Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs assorted administrative tasks to support training staff including but not limited to preparing, formatting and editing documents, maintaining learning management systems, scheduling trainings and maintaining calendars, and responding to general training inquiries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinates location, time, facilities and classes with training specialists and department and/or lines of service managers.
  • Maintains training documentation as required.
  • Sends company orientation materials to new hires within department/line of business.
  • Performs admin orientation for new hires and assists in answering any inquiries.
  • Responsible for Amazon-facing on-boarding and off-boarding for MHE employees.
  • Responsible for scheduling travel, suitability assessments, and other pre-hire logistics for MHE employees.
  • Travels to meetings to represent the training department as necessary.
  • Maintains master schedule of specialists' training project assignments and availability.
  • Drafts effective communications regarding training opportunities and updates for the department or service line.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Strong organizational and self -management skills.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills and exhibit a “team player” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the employer’s insurance policy.
  • Compliance with ELS safety program policies and procedures in contracts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, training or related field

Computer Skills:

Basic Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Advanced knowledge of LMS programs

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Cornerstone LMS program

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment which may sometimes be located in a shop area. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required when on site at a field location.
