Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Launch CMMS Manager will provide quality control during EAM start up.  The primary driver in this role is to ensure that all users of EAM use the same conventions, assumptions and playbooks to make data entries in the system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide training to new incoming employees, including classes of technicians, managers, and new inventory specialists, planner/schedulers, and EAM admins.
  • Retain and update existing documentation regularly to ensure accurate representation of the process and format of the CMMS software.
  • Fully integrate with site CMMS personnel to ensure smooth change transition and proper process alignment.
  • Integrate with the Transition team to ensure a successful turn-up of new portfolio facilities to include supporting:
    • Setup of the Parts cage
    • Asset loading management
    • Asset identification/ assignment in EAM
    • Qualifications of training to include
      • Time reporting
      • Problem codes
      • Reporting and analytics
    • Criticality assignments – ensure proper criticality assignments to assets
    • PM schedule development
    • Parts management/ inventory
      • Quantity
      • Location
      • Physical verification
    • Implement PM assignments within +6 weeks
    • Training staff
    • Onsite support through transition to help CMMS personnel adjust to their new operating environment.
  • Act as a Tier II support for troubleshooting errors with the system and providing constructive feedback if the problem was caused by operator error during launch.
  • Fully integrate with and support the Amazon and ELS RME teams to ensure consistency in message and mission.
  • Implement and monitor site metrics related to the performance of the onsite CMMS personnel.
  • Interact with customer and client personnel to determine customer/client expectations.
  • Coordinate activities throughout customer/client building portfolio to ensure effective, efficient performance in all assigned activities. 
  • Implementation of developed performance metrics 
  • Communications with all team members to support the development of short range planning in support of the company’s goals and objectives
  • Ensure team members perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, being able to work effectively with all levels of personnel and client
  • Establishes and maintains the respect and confidence of clients and ELS employees
  • Other account support and participation as requested by manager.


Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school degree or an approved GED.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance management, with experience in supervision, planning/scheduling and estimating preferred
  • Membership and demonstrated active participation in industry related professional organizations (SMRP, IFMA, BOMA, etc.) with applicable professional certification desired.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering or Management is preferred.
